This individual must be able to work with only general supervision, be comfortable communicating to all levels of leadership (both internal & external) and have developed SW Quality Engineering skills.
Basic qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
Understanding or experience in system/software dependencies, process flow and development methodologies.
Understanding or experience supporting System & Software Engineering requirements, design, integration and
test activities in an Agile Development Framework
Job Requisites
Designs, specifies, and conducts test methods for software inspection, verification and validation.
Evaluates and analyzes software quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
Ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards.
Performs software product reviews against contractual, technical and/or process requirements.
Reviews include requirement specifications, design documents, source code, test plans and procedures, materials,
tools, techniques, and methodologies. Performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations,
traceability, and testability.
Facilitate/assist in the identification of root causes and associated corrective actions, evaluate process/product performance
(via internal audit), support continuous improvement efforts, and participate/interface with the engineering and sustainment.
communities and customer (as required) on program activities to ensure processes and products are compliant to contractual requirements.
Provide SW QA support for program peer reviews, SW audits, regression testing, integration & test, and functional sell-off.
Support other SW Quality Engineers as needed
