JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Responsible for performing quality inspections of manufactured products; ensuring product quality meets company’s regulations and standards.
JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
Quality Inspection
Performs quality inspections for both dimensional and cosmetic checks of manufactured products; ensures product quality meets company’s regulations and standards; enters dimensional and cosmetic data into Center for Audit Quality (CAQ) software utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems.
Measures dimensions of products to verify conformation to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
Inspects the quality of raw materials received from suppliers utilizing visual checks and Incoming Goods Control (IGC) module.
Record Keeping and Reporting
Records inspection or tests data such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or graded; marks items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status.
Documents inspection results utilizing written reports and electronic data entry; maintains necessary files and records for quality control inspections and other related documentation.
Reports non-conformance issues to proper personnel; communicates with various personnel regarding issues relating to quality.

Attends meetings as required or assigned.
Maintains a clean work environment.
Performs related duties as required or assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of computer software Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
Ability to be detail-oriented in terms of evaluating, documenting, and adhering to specified procedures.
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization.
Ability to multi-task while maintaining high quality control.
Ability to organize and prioritize work.

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
