Job Summary
We are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet strict quality standards and regulatory requirements through comprehensive inspection processes. This role is vital in maintaining product integrity, compliance with industry regulations, and continuous improvement of quality systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with precision measurement tools, and a thorough understanding of quality assurance protocols within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of manufactured components using IQA Inspector Jr.
St. Paul, MN 55117 | $21/hour | 1st Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Abbott is seeking a detail-oriented IQA Inspector Jr. to inspect incoming materials, components, and sub-assemblies for compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform incoming quality inspections on mechanical, chemical, printed, and other components.
- Use Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for dimensional inspection.
- Read and interpret GD&T and engineering drawings.
- Identify nonconforming materials and ensure inspection requirements are met.
- Follow established procedures and maintain accurate quality standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 0–2 years of inspection, quality, or manufacturing experience
