Quality Inspector Jobs in Buchanan, MI at Buchanan Metal Forming, Inc.
The Quality Line Inspector position is 1st shift and 40 hours a week. The qualified individual will need to be self-motivated, active, and attentive to detail. This individual will also need to be computer literate, be able to read and understand prints and use various hand measuring instruments (calipers, concentricity gauge, micrometers, height gage, etc.). This person would work hand in hand with a Quality Supervisor, Production Supervisor, and all heads of department, so team player mentality is a must.

Prior Quality / ISO knowledge is a plus.
Gauge Calibration knowledge is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
1 year Quality or Machining experience.
Must be able to read blueprints. Keyence knowledge a plus.
Must be able to work as a team member and independently.
Must be a self-starter.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be reliable and punctual.
Job Duties:
Preform various inspections as required in the production process, such as hourly checks, with potential training for First Piece, Receiving, and Final Inspections.
Preform hourly inspections of production process parts.
Help as needed with ISO-9001 (Auditor).
