Quality Inspector position is a Full time position 40 hours. First shift Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime available. $20.00 per hour.
Job Description:
The Quality Inspector will be inspecting various parts for overall condition and conformance to written specifications and dimensions in conformance with product drawings. Will routinely use micrometers, depth gages, calipers, indicators, thread gages and an optical comparator to determine part integrity. Job assignment will be conducted in both a Cleanroom (gowned) environment as well as a regular shop floor area. Protective safety eyewear and footwear required on shop floor.
Requirements:
- Focused individual; able to do a repeatable job with precision and maintain concentration.
- Has experience and ability to use necessary measurement equipment to provide reliable results.
- Good written and verbal communication skills. Reads and understands English.
- Good mathematical skills and able to read and correctly interpret mechanical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail, good visual acuity, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Must complete all necessary reporting and required paperwork.
- Must follow all safety procedures and practices.
- Other duties as required.
Experience:
1-3 years quality inspection experience in a volume demand environment preferred. Willing to train the right candidate. Must be dependable, reliable and have a teamwork mentality.
- High school diploma required.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
