FAGE USA Dairy is currently seeking Lab Technicians.
Qualified candidates shall possess a 2 or 4 year degree with a concentration in at least one of the sciences (Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, Dairy Sciences, etc…) or a minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing laboratory environment with good computer, organizational and communication skills.
The candidate must possess a strong work ethic and be a team player.
Essential functions of the position:
Sample raw materials, in process and finished product
Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment
Perform all laboratory testing to ensure safe quality product is produced regulations, specifications and work instructions
Accurate data entry and/or completion of all necessary paperwork accurately and legibly
Maintain the sanitation and housekeeping of assigned equipment and surrounding area during shift.
Communicate effectively with Supervisors, Managers and peers
Compliance of all rules, regulations, and safety procedures at the Federal, State, Local and Company levels.
Other duties as assigned
