Lenderworks’ mortgage services platform encompasses the areas of Capital Markets, Compliance and Risk Management, Finance and Accounting, Post Production, Information Technology, Information Security, Solutions Development and Mortgage Technology.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the oversight and development of the Quality Control program. The Quality Control Manager will provide coaching and training to staff members to help drive departmental productivity and achieve strategic objectives. In addition, the Quality Control Manager must proactively monitor loan level testing results, and provide detailed, actionable feedback to clients that address areas of elevated risk and improve loan quality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for policies, procedures, and practices for mortgage loan quality.
Maintain and update the Quality Control Plan, standard operating procedures, tracking logs, reverification process, and invoicing system to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Develop and implement quality control strategies to ensure loan quality meets investor, and insurer requirements.
Acts as central point of contact for internal and external Quality Control audits.
Provide staff with an appropriate level of guidance, coaching, and training to meet departmental objectives.
Ensure all investor and regulatory reporting is completed on or before required deadlines.
Lead monthly Quality Review meetings with clients to analyze loan-level testing results, assess quality trends, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance compliance and alignment with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, USDA, VA, and private-label lending requirements.
Analyze audit results to help determine the potential root cause of deficiencies and escalate trending concerns to the Director, Compliance and Quality Control.
Leverage the ConnectWise platform to efficiently manage and track daily tasks, deliverables, project milestones, and client engagements.
Perform monthly reconciliation of client and third-party invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations.
Assist with red flag reviews as requested by leadership and provide a summary of findings for each loan once the risk investigation has concluded.
Other special projects as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for leading the Quality Control team and strengthening a client-centric approach to quality control programs.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the mortgage industry
Minimum 7 years’ experience in Mortgage Origination Compliance and Quality Control
Advanced understanding of mortgage lending guidelines and consumer protection laws, rules and regulations including Truth-in-Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act, Fair Lending laws, and Advertising laws, etc.
Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to deliver presentations.
QC vendor management experience.
Adept with Ellie Mae Encompass LOS.
Well-versed in utilizing ACES QC Platform.
Dynamic understanding of automated underwriting systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
