The Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting the inspections required in all stages of production in accordance with the quality standards of the company and established safety rules.
Responsibilities
Inspect the manufacturing components and goods merchandise using proper tools.
Create non-compliance and inspection reports.
Release the components in the ERP system when the product is deemed compliant, according to the specifications established with the supplier.
Carry out the inspections during production including welding, sanding, and polishing processes.
Perform the electrical tests and test the water distribution system.
Ensure compliance with the customers ‘specifications, in accordance with the sequences of the program.
Check the concordance of the received parts with the correct delivery.
Perform the visual inspection of the quality of the paint.
Perform the tests of adhesion and save the results in the appropriate form.
Check the quality of the final assembly.
Ensure the receipt of all components of the order using the list and of the packing slip.
Take pictures of the components after the packaging and save the photos on the network.
Apply the safety standards, wear safety equipment, and adhere to the dress code.
Advise the Director of production of any accident or incident.
Participate in various special projects aimed at continuous improvement.
Maintain and clean inspection tools and assist the assemblers as needed.
Skills And Competencies
Able to manage priorities.
Strong decision-making and analytical skills
Attention to detail.
Able to write complex text.
Strong communication skills (oral, written) and leadership skills.
Experience And Training
Basic computer knowledge
Prior experience reading technical drawings and performing simple calculations.
