About the Role: We are looking for a Manual QA Tester to join our growing team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can identify, document, and communicate defects while working closely with developers and product managers to enhance the overall user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
Identify, document, and track bugs and defects in an issue-tracking system (Jira).
Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing on software applications.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers to ensure high-quality releases.
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Ensure software meets business and user requirements before release.
Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning and stand-ups.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in manual software testing.
Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA or Trello.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic understanding of SQL queries and API testing (a plus).
Experience testing mobile and web applications.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
