Position: Quality Inspector- (Fabrication and Assembly)
Duration: 03+ months’ contract (High Possibility of extension)
Shift hours: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Job Description:
Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics, precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools, and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments.
Experience working with Quality Management System Policies and Procedures.
Working knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures, and Specifications.
Overall working knowledge of production processes.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good computing skills.
Maintain certifications as required.
Follow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies.
Verify that tools are qualified.
Prepare and maintain Quality records.
Work across equivalent or lower-level Inspector job codes as required.
Qualifications
Required:
Prompt and on time daily.
Ability to obtain all required training certifications and maintain certifications while on assignment.
Must be available to work any shift – 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift operations.
Available for periods of heavy overtime.
Blueprint reading experience.
MS Office and SAP experience.
Experience writing NCRs (Tags).
