Quality Inspector – Highly Skilled (2nd shift) Jobs in Asheville, NC at GE Aerospace
The Preventive Quality Specialist will lead and prioritize permanent issue mitigation of parts and systems through robust improvements in design, development, and validation of powertrain, electronics, and software systems. This position will also ensure cross-functional read across of mitigation actions between regions and functions including coaching and training. Identify and resolve gaps in engineering, manufacturing, purchasing process to ensure robust design, development, and industrialization. As well as drive required actions to improve total cost of warranty (Design for Serviceability), ensure robust durability, and Reliability of global vehicles (KPPM & CPV).
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in vehicle project or quality management or manufacturing
5+ years of experience in managing global projects
Demonstrated technical problem-solving skills
Ability to lead projects across regionally teams
