Quality Inspector I/II – C Shift Jobs in Long Beach, CA at Rocket Lab USA
Nitterhouse Concrete Products is currently looking for a Quality Control Inspector to ensure our products are manufactured at the highest standards and meet all specs and regulations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform routine testing of concrete—air content, slump or flow, concrete temperature, cylinder strength, unit weights
Perform routine maintenance at our in-house Water Process Building (testing area)
Pre- and/or post-pour inspection of products
Hardware reinforcement placement
Maintain accurate casting records
Maintain clean work area and equipment
Follow company safety policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Ability to read shop drawings
Ability to read and write in English
Must have good math, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to lift up to and including 50 pounds
Must be able and willing to work overtime as needed
Must possess a good attitude and a willingness to learn
Working knowledge of Excel and Word a plus
Prior concrete testing experience or certification a plus
