Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Quality Inspector IV, supporting operations in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
You will:
Use predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to visually inspect in-process and completed electronic/electrical assembled products such as Electronic Assemblies, Electrical Cables and Harnesses, Surface Mount and Thru Hole Circuit Card Assemblies.
Use various measuring devices and testing equipment.
Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
Work from blueprints, diagrams, customer, regulatory and BAE specifications, drawings or inspection instructions and checklists.
May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
HS and 4 years’ experience
Experience inspecting Electronic Components and Assemblies, Electrical Harnesses and Cables, and Circuit Cards
Experience using Microscope, Eye Loupe, and other means of Magnification
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Must be able to read blueprints, diagrams, customer, regulatory and BAE specifications, drawings or inspection instructions
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
IPC-610 and J-STD-001 Certification Preferred. IPC-610 and IPC-620 Instructor Certification a plus
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $52,955 – $84,728

This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
