In this crucial role, you will support the production of high-quality aerospace components by performing inspections throughout the manufacturing process. You’ll work onsite, reporting to the Sr Quality Engineering Manager. Your responsibilities will include verifying compliance with specifications, supporting customer hardware reviews, and preventing quality escapes from the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with print requirements
• Utilize metrology tools and interpret blueprints accurately
• Generate Quality Notifications in SAP for non-conformance
• Collaborate with customers during hardware inspections
• Propose adjustments to production processes as needed
Requirements:
• Diploma in a technical discipline
• 2+ years of quality inspection experience
• Familiarity with CMM programming and utilization
• Knowledge of AS9100 QMS principles
• Understanding of GD&T principles
