CTR Group is seeking a Quality Inspector for a Naval Engineering Department of a Company in Hampton, VA that specializes in designing and manufacturing high quality mechanical and electromechanical equipment for space, energy and industry applications.
SALARY RANGE: $70K – $90K and Excellent Benefits

Full Time, M-F, Day Shift Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality management systems and procedures
Conduct regular quality audits and inspections of manufacturing processes
Analyze quality data and metrics to identify areas for improvement
Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure quality standards are met
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality control standards
Train staff on quality assurance practices and procedures
What you bring:
5 years’ experience with quality inspection in the maritime and defense manufacturing industry
Top 3 must-haves/non-negotiables for each role
5 years experience in quality inspection and adherence to compliance standards for defense/aerospace manufacturing
Experience establishing quality systems and performing ISO or DCAA audits on quality systems
Trust- clean background
Strong knowledge of quality control processes, especially in advanced technologies and welding
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with maritime regulations and industry quality standards
Certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001)
