Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests and experiments, ensuring compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in molecular biology and quality control, with experience in both clinical and industrial laboratory settings.
Duties
Conduct laboratory tests and experiments following established protocols to ensure accurate results.
Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data entry and management.
Analyze samples and interpret results, documenting findings in accordance with GLP guidelines.
Perform quality control checks on laboratory equipment and procedures to maintain high standards of accuracy.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to experimental procedures or equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Assist in the preparation of reports summarizing experimental data and findings.
Stay updated on advancements in animal physiology and molecular biology relevant to laboratory practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Familiarity with GLP and CGMP regulations is highly desirable.
Experience working in an industrial or clinical laboratory setting is a plus.
Strong mathematical skills for accurate data analysis and interpretation.
Proficient in using laboratory equipment and software, including LIMS.
Knowledge of quality control processes within a laboratory environment.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey findings and collaborate with colleagues.

Pay: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour
