Inspector for produce company for Burlington location.
-The
Quality Control
Inspector is responsible for scrutinizing and grading all In-Bound, Out-Bound and In-House Inventory ensuring all product meet both Company and Client specifications.
-The candidate will be required to open cases of in-bound product to perform visual, measurable and temperature checks which will be recorded and distributed by email / Teams to the designated individuals.
-The candidate needs to be familiar with client specifications in order to re-direct inventory to suitable clients based on the assigned grade.
-The candidate will also be responsible for inspecting all out-bound deliveries to ensure again that product meets client specifications prior to delivery and that pallet type and labelling are in compliance with client requirements.
-Age reports are generated by this individual on a regular basis to ensure that in-house inventory is in good quality and client re-directs are known by company decision-makers in a timely manner.
-The candidate will participate in all repacks and any task whereby product is handled out of it’s container.
—Prior experience in Produce is required. Hourly Rate: $17.50/hour
