A day in the life…
Interns are provided meaningful work assignments designed to provide perspective and practical work experience highlighting what you would do in a similar role following completion of your degree and working at the company on a regular, fulltime basis.
What you will be doing:
Support the oversight of document management processes, helping to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with company standards.
Assist in maintaining documentation that aligns with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to the standardization of tracking and reporting systems for key quality and food safety programs
Visit the Iola, Kansas Russell Stover manufacturing plant at least two days a week, as needed, to support plant projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance organizational processes and ensure compliance.
Perform other functions related to FSSC compliance as assigned.
Do you have what it takes?
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Science, Engineering, Business, or any other relevant discipline.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Do you stand above the rest?
(Preferred Qualifications)
Knowledge of food science and manufacturing
Experience with databases and data management systems
Familiarity with various software platforms
Confident Problem Solver / Solution-driven individual
Able to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment
