JOB DESCRIPTION
The Quality Inspector’s primary focus is to ensure that products meet customer expectations and comply with industry standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Inspect raw materials at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards
Resolve quality related issues as they arise and prevent the shipment of defective products.
Conduct inspections of finished material to identify potential defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that quality standards are met throughout the production process.
Perform Quality and FOD floor audits to identify potential risks on the production floor
Perform Internal Audits in accordance with the Internal Audit Schedule
Assist in the maintenance of the calibration program
Participate in Quality continuous improvement projects
COMPETENCIES
3-5 years quality inspection, quality assurance or quality control experience.
Experience working with recognized quality standards such as ISO or AS.
Strong communication skills.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Proficient in Google Sheets and Google Docs
Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is located inside a manufacturing facility. The shop floor may be slippery and has loud noises. Safety glasses, safety shoes and hardhat are required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, during normal business hours. Hours of work may vary based on business needs.
