Overview
Perform in process & final inspections, record inspection results, and recommend improvements to production process. Applicants should demonstrate great attention to detail with excellent technical & math abilities, be able to read and understand blueprints. Should have knowledge of GD&T symbols & terms, as well as ISO 9001 system certification requirements. Works under the direction of the QA Manager but should be able to work with little direct supervision.
Responsibilities
Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed reports on findings, including any non-conformance issues.
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Conduct audits of processes and systems to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Assist in the development and improvement of quality control procedures and documentation.
Requirements
Proven experience in QA/QC within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Proficiency in using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining individual accountability for quality outcomes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
