We are looking for a responsible, proactive, and results-oriented laboratory manager who will ensure the efficient operation of the laboratory, oversee the ISO 17025 quality management system, and coordinate the team’s activities.
You will be responsible for the following projects:
- You will organize and coordinate the laboratory’s daily operations;
- You will lead the laboratory staff, plan tasks, and ensure they are carried out to a high standard;
- You will ensure that the laboratory’s operations comply with applicable laws, standards, and internal procedures;
- You will implement, maintain, and improve the quality management system in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and other applicable standards;
- You will plan the maintenance, calibration, and metrological control of laboratory equipment;
- You will analyze test results and performance indicators and initiate process improvement solutions;
- You will collaborate with clients, suppliers, accreditation bodies, and other partners;
- You will prepare internal documentation, procedures, and reports, and participate in internal and external audits;
- You will manage the laboratory’s budget, resources, and investment planning;
- You will ensure compliance with employee safety, environmental protection, and quality requirements.

We hope that you:
- Have a degree in chemistry, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, metrology, or another related field;
- Have at least 3 years of work experience in a laboratory; at least 2 of those years in a managerial role would be an advantage;
- Have a good understanding of the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, or other quality management systems;
- Have experience preparing laboratory documentation and participating in accreditation processes;
- Are a leader capable of motivating a team, solving problems, and ensuring high-quality work;
- Are able to analyze data, make decisions, and plan work effectively;
- Are highly proficient in MS Office programs;
- Have a good command of both spoken and written Lithuanian and English.
Salary
From 3000 to 3750 €/month gross
Salary depends on your competencies and is negotiable.
