JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for completing required quality checks throughout the production process. Additionally, this position will bear some responsibility for training and administrative work, as well as driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibility:
Perform all required line checks in production.
Ensure Work Order instructions are being followed, including use of correct components and correct coding.
Perform incoming inspections for components and submit reports for failed inspections
Follow the HOLD/Rework process for any non-conforming product, including appropriate SAP transactions
Inspect rework processes and rework product to ensure conformity to customer expectations.
Assist Quality department in implementing good quality practices, processes, and procedures.
Troubleshoot quality-related issues during the production process
Request and/or initiate corrective actions to identify cause and eliminate future non-conformance.
Assist with the development, implementation, maintenance, and documentation of QC Inspection Procedures and Records.
Participate in the identification and continual improvement of organizational processes.
Preferred:
Laboratory testing raw material and in-process batches according to established procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT
CHEMISTRY LAB EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
sTRONG UNDERSTANDING OF mICROSOFT oFFICE SUITE (word/excel).
TWO YEARS PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR SETTING
PREVIOUS SPC AND/OR SAP EXPERIENCE A PLUS
