Guiding quality issues during 3rd shift Will be working with operations, packaging team and mixing team- overseeing quality Need to be able to help quality techs with lab testing when needed Project work- help with process improvements like SOP writing and etc Oversee 2 quality technicians that do the following tasks:
Follow GMP protocols Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure quality standards Execute laboratory tests on materials and products, safeguarding compliance. Support food safety and regulatory programs, including Gluten-Free and Organic initiatives. Perform regular inspections to identify non-conformances and improvement opportunities. Verify and manage product label precision and compliance. Monitor sanitation chemicals, ensuring they meet safety thresholds. Calibrate lab equipment to maintain quality consistency.

Conduct inline process checks and adjustments to maintain standards. Conduct swab tests to ensure sanitation efficacy. Ensure ingredients meet high standards. Need to be able to step into any of the above tasks as well.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

B.S. degree in Life Sciences with 2 years of GMP experience in a food, pharmaceutical or biotech industry or Associates degree in Life Sciences with 4+ years of GMP experience in a food, pharmaceutical or biotech industry or high school diploma with 6+ years of GMP experience in a food, pharmaceutical or biotech industry 2+ years of quality experience Any SOP writing experience is a plus HACCP certified- plus PCQI and SQF experience- plus Spanish speaking- plus as majority of workforce is Spanish speaking

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 – $28.00/hr.
