We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Leader to join our Technical team on a part-time, temporary basis. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the compliance and quality of our products, and will play a key part in maintaining high standards within our business.
Duration: Temporary (Part Time)
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
Lead investigations into quality issues, identifying root causes and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Oversee the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) and manage document control processes.
Conduct quality checks, ensuring consistency and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Drive and lead quality-focused projects to improve operational processes and product outcomes.
Analyse and review quality data to monitor trends, identify areas for improvement, and inform decision-making.
Carry out internal audits to ensure the business is meeting industry regulations and internal standards.
Complete retailer and brand product specifications, ensuring they align with legal and quality requirements.
Manage retailer and own label artwork sign-off processes, ensuring all labelling meets required standards.
Handle customer complaints, ensuring appropriate responses and actions are taken.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in a similar quality role within the food industry, with specific expertise in artwork sign-off, retailer specifications, and food labelling.
Knowledge and experience of HACCP procedures is preferred.
Self-motivated, with a proactive approach and the ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards across all areas of the business.
