Job Description
As a Quality Management and Methods (QMM) Engineer at Bosch, your primary responsibility will be ensuring that our semiconductor products for automotive applications meet the highest quality standards. You will implement and maintain quality control procedures tailored to the automotive sector and address any quality issues proactively.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for automotive semiconductor products.
Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards like ISO
9001 and IATF 16949.
Analyze data and perform statistical analyses to identify quality trends, and prepare reaction and response plans (OCAP).
Collaborate with production, engineering, and suppliers to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
Perform root cause analysis and develop preventive measures.
Monitor and improve quality control measures.
Facilitate PFMEAs and oversee change control/technical review processes.
Maintain quality documentation, including SOPs and work instructions specific to automotive requirements.
Train employees on quality control procedures.
Participate in designing and developing new automotive semiconductor products, ensuring quality standards are met.
Stay updated on automotive industry standards and regulations related to semiconductor quality management, such as ISO
9001, IATF 16949, and AEC-Q100.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical), Quality Management, or related Science field.
Minimum 2 years of professional experience.
Experience leading improvement projects to completion.
Proficiency with database management, electronic document systems, and statistical analysis software.
Knowledge of core tools like APQP, PPAP, SPC, Production Control Plans, and VDA 6.3 is preferred.
Experience moderating FMEA processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with ISO/IATF compliant QMS, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing.
Experience with APIS IQ Software.
Background in complex manufacturing environments such as semiconductors or pharmaceuticals.
Strong skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Additional Information
This role is on-site in Roseville, CA.
Work schedule:
Monday-Friday, with overtime and on-call as needed.
US work authorization is required; sponsorship is not available.
