Florida Heat Pump Manufacturing
, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a joint venture between Robert Bosch (BOSCH Group) and Carrier Corporation. FHP Manufacturing is a leader in the production of geothermal and water source heat pumps, providing some of the most efficient heating and cooling comfort solutions in the industry.
Job Description
This will be an onsite internship with a minimum of 6 month with potential to be extended to a year long in duration. This will be a 1st shift role.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Quality Management team. This internship provides hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment, focusing on quality systems, continuous improvement, and operational support. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data analysis, quality assurance, and driving results through collaboration and continuous improvement.
Gather, analyze, and present data to support quality initiatives.
Compile and update monthly and quarterly quality reports.
Assist in the preparation and presentation of topics during internal meetings.
Support product/process investigations and resolution efforts with internal stakeholders.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of procedures and systems.
Support the quality group leader with ad-hoc tasks and special assignments as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in a college or university pursing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Preferred major in Engineering,Science or related technical field.
Minimum GPA of 3.0

Experience with Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work in a manufacturing/shop floor environment for up to 8 hours as needed.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Passion for quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in team environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal and team-based communication abilities.
Demonstrated consistency and discipline in following established processes and procedures.
Strong time management and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
