We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Management Systems (QMS) Specialist to aid in developing and implementing
Quality Management Systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the ISO 9001:2015 standard along with experience in API Q1 and Q2, as well as DS1 standards. This role requires a deep understanding of completions tools and prior experience conducting supplier audits, with a strong focus on auditing QMS compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement the company’s Quality Management System.
Conduct supplier audits, focusing on QMS effectiveness, process controls, and regulatory compliance.
Assess suppliers’ adherence to ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, API Q2, and DS1, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions.
Provide technical expertise on completions tools quality requirements, ensuring product and process integrity.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement in quality performance.
Lead internal audits, manage non-conformities, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
Stay updated on industry standards, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
Requirements
5+ years of experience working with and managing ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
Strong knowledge of API Q1, API Q2, and DS1 standards.
Experience in supplier auditing, with a focus on QMS effectiveness and compliance.
Background in oil & gas, specifically completion tools.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, process validation, and quality assurance in an industrial setting.
Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor (preferred but not required).
Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
