The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the company’s quality systems through effective team leadership, internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key internal and external partners.
Responsibilities
Oversee quality management systems
Ensure regulatory and customer compliance
Manage product and process quality assurance
Develop and report quality metrics
Identify trends and initiate corrective actions
Perform internal and external quality audits and prepare detailed reports
Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, training, and performance evaluations
Qualifications
Degree preferred
5+ years’ relevant experience in manufacturing quality, preferably metals or aerospace
2+ years of supervisory experience
Experience with customer audits, quality investigations, and regulatory compliance
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proven ability to build strong teams
