Our organization is growing to meet business needs, and we’re looking for a quality manager to join our operations team in Thailand. Your responsibilities will include:
- Fulfill QMR functions, maintaining our ISO 9001 and FSC management systems through internal and external audits
- Plan third-party and internal inspections; analyse inspection reports; and, act on the findings
- Manage the complaint handling process and tracking tools
- Develop and verify ongoing corrective actions and continuous improvement plans with vendors
- Maintain product specifications, and regulatory and performance standards
- Oversee vendor and factory compliance standards and documentation
- Support the sales and customer service teams with customer quality and compliance requirements
- Travel internationally — primarily to manufacturing sites in China — to evaluate vendors and align production.
We’re looking for an independent Thai national, who’s comfortable working in a small, international team of like-minded people. You’re organized, methodical and strong communicator. Furthermore you’ll bring:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering, technical or business discipline
- At least five years of experience in quality management in international trading, export manufacturing or related fields
- Experience in homeware, HORECA, food packaging, textiles or related industries
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AQL sampling; FSC experience a strong plus
- Familiarity with international product and factory standards
- Knowledge of social compliance schemes (e.g. Sedex/SMETA, BSCI) an advantage
- Ability to turn inspection and quality data into clear analysis that drives decisions and improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal English; Mandarin a plus
