Key Responsibilities
- Collect, review, communicate, and follow up on technical documentation and product quality-related issues across internal teams and customers.
- Oversee daily quality management activities by providing technical guidance, quality training, and ensuring compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
- Lead and manage both individual and team projects, ensuring targets are achieved in terms of quality, delivery, and production output.
- Review and approve quality-related documentation to ensure alignment with internal procedures and customer specifications.
- Establish departmental quality objectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.
- Investigate and resolve critical quality issues by coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations.
- Maintain effective communication with customers, addressing quality concerns, managing complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate communication among engineers, technicians, and other departments to promote collaboration and efficient problem-solving.
- Coach and develop engineers and technicians through technical training and professional development programs.
- Manage departmental manpower planning and resource allocation within cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations.
- Lead Operational Excellence (OE) initiatives to continuously improve quality management processes.
- Organize annual management reviews, conduct internal quality and environmental system audits, coordinate external audits, and drive corrective actions to ensure the effectiveness of the management system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Quality Management, including at least 4 years in a leadership role, with solid experience in multinational (FDI) manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of quality standards for plastic products or electronic components, including product testing methods, manufacturing processes, and inspection standards.
- Hands-on experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 13485 management systems, including implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Fluent in English or Chinese with strong communication skills.
