Description
Summary: Oversee and manage the quality organization and regulatory affairs activities within the department, including quality assurance, supervision, engineering, compliance, and regulatory affairs. Maintain oversight of the quality management system across the manufacturing campus. Implement and uphold quality objectives and initiatives to meet corporate and customer requirements. Address complex projects, utilize risk management tools, and collaborate with manufacturing managers and leadership to develop data-driven solutions to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Job Functions
Fulfill all responsibilities of the Quality Management Representative as per global regulations.
Maintain a strong understanding of customer and regulatory requirements.
Lead risk-based management practices related to change management, complaint investigations, nonconforming materials, CAPA, and business continuity.
Develop and implement regulatory plans for new, transfer, legacy, and modified products.
Provide professional resolution of customer complaints and quality issues, leading root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Ensure effective management review through feedback mechanisms like Voice of Customer, audits, and KPIs.
Monitor and improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System using risk-based approaches.
Coordinate regulatory research to support submissions and compliance advice.
Establish and maintain Product Quality documentation, procedures, policies, and training programs.
Support audits and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
Mentor and develop quality staff, setting performance goals and growth opportunities.
Engage with leadership and continuous improvement teams to enhance process and product quality.
Prepare quality reports and analyze trends.
Maintain programs related to Hygiene, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
Manage quality agreements and change requests with customers.
Ensure conformance to specifications, process development, risk analysis, validation, and other quality controls.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to safety standards.
Generate regular reports on quality objectives and KPIs.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manage and oversee quality team members, fostering performance and career development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Biological, Biomedical, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of management experience in Quality, with at least 3 years in Medical Device and QMS improvement.
ISO 13485 Lead Auditor certification, Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, ERP (SAP), and statistical software is preferred.
Physical & Environmental Conditions
Primarily office work with manufacturing environment exposure; physical demands include sitting, standing, lifting up to 20 pounds, and working in a manufacturing setting with associated hazards.
Additional Information
Environmental policy commitment to sustainability; PPE requirements include safety toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection as needed. Candidates must qualify as US Persons due to export compliance regulations. Travel expected about 40%. Salary range: $115,000 – $135,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
