We are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Quality Manager to lead and drive Carlsberg Bulgaria’s quality strategy across our breweries in Shumen and Blagoevgrad. In this role, you will ensure the highest standards of product quality, food safety, compliance, and continuous improvement while supporting the delivery of world-class products to our consumers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve Carlsberg Bulgaria’s quality initiatives across both brewery locations;
- Monitor, analyse, and report quality performance results, driving corrective and preventive actions where needed;
- Plans, coordinates, ensures, controls, and reviews the resources required for the implementation of the Quality Strategy at company level;
- Lead, coach, and develop the Quality team through performance management, capability building, and development planning;
- Lead and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and corporate quality standards;
- Act as Management Representative for ISO 9001 and HACCP Coordinator for the organization;
- Coordinate internal and external audits, supplier assessments, certification activities, and customer visits;
- Lead food safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the breweries.
What we’re looking for:
- University degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Engineering, or another relevant field; food industry, biochemistry, chemistry – physics, industrial chemistry, technical
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Management preferably within a manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, HACCP, ISO 9001, and ISO 22000;
- Experience leading audits, certification processes, and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights;
- Proven leadership experience and ability to motivate and develop teams;
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
