Job Summary:

The Quality Manager oversees and ensures the implementation of quality assurance and improvement programs. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with industry standards, driving performance excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Organizational Relationship:

-Responsible To: Group Chief Nursing & Quality Officer

-Responsible For: Risk Management, Patient safety and Performance Improvement, Data Analyst.

-Liaison With: Regional Nursing & Quality Coordinators.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s Quality Management System in alignment with accreditation and regulatory requirements.

Ensure compliance with applicable laws, standards, and policies.

Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal and external audits.

Lead efforts to achieve and maintain accreditation (e.g., JCI, CBAHI).

Establish and monitor quality indicators and performance metrics.

Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

Collaborate with departments to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.

Utilize methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma to enhance operational processes.

Conduct training sessions for staff on quality standards and best practices.

Promote awareness of quality initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Work closely with teams to address patient safety concerns.

Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues.

Qualifications:Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration or relevant specialty.

Preferred Certified in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) Lean and Six Sigma.

Professional Experience:

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Quality Management or Healthcare Administration.

Specialized Skills:

Knowledge of Healthcare Standards: Familiarity with JCI, CBAHI, and other international healthcare quality standards.

Quality Improvement Expertise: Proficiency in quality management tools, methodologies, and practices.

Data Analysis Skills: Ability to collect, interpret, and utilize quality metrics effectively.

Communication and Coordination: Strong skills in facilitating cross-departmental collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Capability to identify gaps, propose solutions, and implement corrective actions.

Risk Management: Knowledge of patient safety protocols and risk mitigation strategies.

Training and Development: Competence in educating staff on quality standards and practices.
