Quality Manager – Midlothian, TX Job Duties
- Responsible for the Quality Management System
- Managing a team of scientists in the QA/QC departments
- Approving new and existing procedures that affect product and material quality
- Collaborating with Regulatory Affairs
- Overseeing MOC, OOS, Deviation, and CAPA programs
- Ensuring efficiency and safety in the lab
- Maintaining SOPs and other documentation on the internal document management system
- In charge of running customer audits as requested in a timely manner
- Developing new programs to improve efficiency and workflow
Schedule
Day Shift M-F 7:00 AM-4:00 PM CST
Pay
$130,000 – $145,000 USD yearly, depending on experience.
Additional
Skills & Qualifications
- BS in Chemistry or a related field preferred
- Internal Auditor Training
- Experience with ISO 9001 and CGMP
- Preferred Lean or Six Sigma Certification
- 7+ years experience in a CGMP environment, preferably in the food or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
- 3+ years of experience in a management/supervisor/lead role
- Experience collaborating between Quality and Operations departments
