Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Develop and Implement Quality Systems:

– Establish quality policies and plans in line with international standards such as ISO 22000 and HACCP.

– Develop operational procedures to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.

2. Supervision and Monitoring:

– Oversee production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.

– Supervise and train the quality team on policies and procedures.

– Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of quality systems.

3. Problem Management and Analysis:

– Analyze root causes of quality issues and propose corrective actions.

– Follow up on customer complaints and feedback, ensuring timely resolutions.

4. Compliance with Regulations:

– Ensure that all operations comply with local and international food safety and regulatory requirements.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

– Prepare periodic reports on quality performance and present them to senior management.

– Maintain accurate records of all inspections, audits, and evaluations.

6. Continuous Improvement:

– Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend new techniques or practices to enhance quality.

– Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in quality management and food safety.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field.

2. At least 7 years of experience in quality management within the canning food manufacturing

3. Strong knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP).

4. Leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.

5. Strong analytical skills and decision-making based on data.

6. Proficiency in quality management software and tools.

7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
