We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance efforts and ensure compliance with customer and industry standards.
Job Summary:
The Quality Manager will be a hands-on role for all aspects of quality control and assurance, ensuring that products meet customer requirements and industry regulations. This role will develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems, conduct inspections and audits, and work closely with production teams to drive continuous improvement. The Manager will oversee a small team and should expect to be very hands-on side-by-side with the operations and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS). Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other industry standards.
Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits as required.
Establish and enforce quality control processes throughout the production cycle.
Oversee inspection, testing, and measurement of materials and finished products.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Work with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Train employees in quality control procedures and best practices.
Maintain documentation and reporting related to quality performance and non-conformance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a quality management role within a fabrication, machining, or stamping environment.
In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
Strong understanding of quality inspection methods, measurement tools, and statistical analysis.
Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
