Hunter Douglas is seeking a Quality Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and control across our operations at our Droma brand, based out of Poland.

Key Responsibilities
Maintains quality assurance objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals
Understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
Setting requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitoring their compliance
Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment
Devise and review specifications for products or processes
Collaborate with engineering to review project readiness and the purchasing of a supplier management strategy
Analyze and resolve process quality issues and needs as they relate to process performance and quality requirements
Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback
Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods
Eliminating products that are not up to standards and finding the reasons for product problems
Approve the right products or reject defectives
Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives
Collaborate within Hunter Douglas Group matrix organization.
Travel to suppliers to ensure quality and process capacities are met
Interested in this role? Here’s what we’re looking for:
BS in Engineering, Quality, Business or related degree
Proven experience as quality manager
In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
Certification of quality control is a strong advantage
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively
Very good knowledge of English – minimum level B2
