This role will be responsible for leading, supervising, planning, and directing activities concerned with the Quality Assurance of Aclara ANSI Meter processes, materials, and products for the HUBBELL Utility Solutions Segment of the Hubbell Enterprise.

Major Responsibilities
Manage a staff of 3 Quality Engineers and Analysts, and oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) for the Portsmouth NH facility, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Participate actively as a member of the Quality Management Council; manage and participate in external and internal quality audits.
Support local operations activities by representing the Quality Assurance business aspect.
Technical Knowledge
Manage ISO 9001:2015 Registered QMS.
Coordinate with external ISO registrars for sustainment and expansion of certifications, addressing all technical matters.
Utilize problem-solving techniques such as 8D CAR, FEMA, IQOQPQ, APQP, DMAIC.
Provide technical leadership to the quality staff, ensuring proper process documentation and continuous improvement of the QMS.
Support the QA team in data collection and analysis to improve product and system quality; publish monthly reports for upper management.
Department Management
Directly manage 3-5 Quality Managers, providing counseling, employee development, and input on performance appraisals.
External Audits and Training
Manage external customer and ISO audits as scheduled.
Implement innovative technologies within the department.
Ensure ongoing training for all department employees.
Maintain the calibration system in compliance with ISO standards.
Cross-train department members to ensure flexibility and coverage.

Education and
Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university;
Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of related experience.
Expertise in ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Preferred certifications:
Certified Quality Manager, Certified Quality Auditor.
Proficiency in problem resolution techniques.
Language Skills:
Ability to interpret business and technical documents, communicate effectively, and present information clearly to groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with statistical concepts, geometry, trigonometry, and apply ratios and percentages in practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions from complex instructions and variables.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency with spreadsheet, word processing, Visio, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
Physical Requirements:
Travel approximately 10%, including international trips.
Ability to communicate effectively, work on a computer, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds.
