We are looking for a Director of Quality and Technical Services to lead and enhance the technical operations of our fleet. This role directly impacts fleet safety, reliability, and operational success. Key Responsibilities
Develop Inspection Programs: Create and maintain inspection programs for each aircraft type.
Coordinate with FAA: Ensure maintenance standards align with FAA regulations and manuals.
Ensure Airworthiness: Monitor maintenance practices and address compliance issues.
Manage Compliance: Work with Maintenance Planning to meet Airworthiness Directives.
Lead Inspection Teams: Oversee Quality Control goals and train inspection staff.
Handle FAA Communications: Engage with the FAA on inspections and investigations.
Oversee Cargo Maintenance: Manage cargo compartment maintenance and procedures.
Support Engineering: Oversee Engineering and Technical Support Services.
Drive Reliability: Lead improvement plans to enhance maintenance reliability.
Manage Safety and Security: Oversee safety, security, and risk management activities.
Additional Duties: Handle other responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
5+ years of leadership experience in a Part 121 maintenance organization (within the last 8 years).
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations for Part 121 operations.
Experience in labor environments and cross-functional collaboration.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Fluent in English and authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience with Bombardier CRJ or similar aircraft.
Expertise in commercial service contract negotiations.
