About The Role

A leading UK main contractor is seeking a proactive and experienced Quality Manager to support the delivery of a major power transmission framework across Scotland. This is a high-profile, long-term programme supporting the national transition to a low-carbon energy future through the development of resilient, sustainable infrastructure.

As Quality Manager, you will take ownership of quality assurance and control across multiple large-scale infrastructure projects—ensuring compliance with contract requirements, industry standards, and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain project-specific Quality Management Plans aligned with the overall framework strategy.

Lead quality assurance and control processes across all project phases.

Support site teams in implementing robust quality procedures and promote a “right first time” culture.

Carry out audits, inspections, and reviews to monitor quality performance and drive continual improvement.

Liaise with clients, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure quality standards are clearly understood and upheld.

Investigate non-conformances and lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes.

Produce regular reports on quality KPIs and provide strategic input on improvement initiatives.

About You

Strong background in quality management within infrastructure, civil engineering, or power transmission sectors.

Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards and systems.

Experience working on large frameworks or multi-project programmes.

Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.

Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. IRCA, CQI, or similar) preferred.
