We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Supervisor to join our team in East Longmeadow, MA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards while leading a talented team of quality professionals. Responsibilities
Oversee and manage quality inspection processes to ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 standards.
Lead and mentor a team of quality inspectors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Utilize GD&T principles to interpret and analyze blueprints for effective quality control.
Conduct root cause analysis using the 5 Why methodology to address non-conforming products.
Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) strategies to enhance product quality.
Manage the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to ensure product integrity.
Analyze quality control data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Utilize quality control software and ERP systems to streamline processes and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
Operate and maintain vision systems, specifically Keyence machines, for precise quality inspections.
Qualifications
Proven experience in quality inspection and quality control management.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
In-depth knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 certification processes.
Experience with GD&T and blueprint reading.
Familiarity with the 5 Why root cause analysis method.
Experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and PPAP processes.
Ability to identify and manage non-conforming products effectively.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in ERP and quality control software.
Experience with vision systems, particularly Keyence brand machinery.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on quality control data analysis.
