Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Manager & Assistant Quality Manager based in Senai. The role is responsible for leading and supporting quality management activities, including establishing, maintaining, and improving quality systems in line with customer requirements and international standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing incoming, in-process, and final inspection; managing non-conformances, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA); and ensuring effective root cause analysis and problem resolution. The position also involves coordinating internal and external audits, qualifying and monitoring suppliers, preparing quality documentation and reports, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in the production environment. The Quality Manager & Assistant Quality Manager will collaborate closely with production, engineering, supply chain, and customer-facing teams to maintain consistent product quality and support customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

  • Strong background in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, relevant industry standards), including development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with quality tools and methodologies such as root cause analysis, 5 Whys, 8D, FMEA, control plans, SPC, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Practical experience in manufacturing quality control, preferably in wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, electromechanical assemblies, or similar precision manufacturing environments.
  • Competence in audit activities, including planning and conducting internal quality audits, handling external/customer audits, and following up on audit findings.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions, and translate them into clear quality inspection and control requirements.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, including use of basic statistical techniques and office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, documentation software).
