Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr – $80,000.00/yr
An automotive parts manufacturing company near the Spring Valley, IL area is looking for a Quality Manager. You will oversee the Quality Department and ensure all quality standards throughout the product development and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have prior Quality leadership experience within an automotive parts manufacturing environment.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.
Responsibilities:
Management of QMS system
Collaborate with production and upper management for continuous improvement projects
Maintain Quality Department budget
Handle shift meetings & Quality Control meetings
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or combination of education & relevant experience
At least 3 years’ experience in quality assuranceleadership
Experience with IATF 16949 is preferred
Certified internal auditor is a plus
Good time management and leadership skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch & lift up to 30 pounds
