Job Title: QA Automation Test Engineer II
Duration: 12+ months (with potential to convert or extend)
Location: Remote (Must reside in the U.S.)
Employment Type: W-2 Only (Not eligible for Corp-to-Corp)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a QA Automation Test Engineer II with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams. This individual will be responsible for backend testing, API validation, and working with cloud-based technologies in a CI/CD environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern testing tools and frameworks and be proactive in aligning testing efforts with development and business goals.
Key Qualifications & Skills:Must-Have Skills:
Strong collaboration and communication abilities across cross-functional teams
Ability to articulate testing goals and align with broader team objectives
Backend testing experience using Postman
API testing experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI specifications
Experience with AWS or other cloud technologies
Proficient in SQL; ability to read and analyze logs
Working knowledge of Kafka and REST APIs
Familiarity with CI/CD processes (e.g., Git)
Experience with scripting using Groovy, JavaScript, or Java
Testing frameworks such as ReadyAPI, Karate, and Cypress
Understanding of BDD frameworks and Page Object Model
Test case management using qTest
Bug tracking with JIRA
Experience with MongoDB and other databases
Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and tools like:
Form Exporter
Adobe Experience Platform Debugger
Snagit
Source control and DevOps tools like GitLab
Experience with TypeScript
Ability to perform component-level testing
