Job Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Quality Manager to uphold and elevate Cosset’s reputation for exceptional product quality while ensuring compliance with ISO 22716 standards. This role is pivotal in developing a comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) program that ensures our bath bombs, body butters, and other products meet the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction while fostering a culture of employee engagement and preparing the company for future ISO audits.
Objectives of the Role
Interpret, enhance, and comply with Cosset’s quality assurance standards, including ISO 22716 requirements.
Maintain robust complaint and nonconformance processing through records, tracking systems, rootcause analysis, and corrective actions.
Document QA activities with detailed internal reporting and audits to support ISO compliance.
Develop improved standards for production and product design, creating testing protocols for all product lines.
Identify training needs and ensure companywide compliance with quality and ISO standards.
Prepare the company for future ISO 22716 audits through proactive documentation, process improvements, and staff training.
Stay current with new QA solutions, technologies, and skills through continuing education.
Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and oversee product inspection and testing to ensure conformance to specifications, deliverables, and ISO 22716 standards.
Track, document, and report quality levels, alongside Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), environmental, and health and safety KPIs.
Investigate product quality issues and resolve them in line with company guidelines, regulatory requirements, and ISO standards.
Develop or refine procedures for capturing, investigating, and documenting product complaints.
Monitor riskmanagement procedures, maintain problem logs, and escalate issues to managers and product developers as needed.
Provide training and support to QA team members on systems, policies, procedures, core processes, and ISO 22716 compliance.
Prepare and maintain documentation and processes for successful ISO 22716 audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools, with familiarity with ISO 22716 standards.
Superb computer skills, including proficiency in database management.
Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.
Proficiency in best practices for testing, version control, and defect management.
Experience in the cosmetics or personal care industry and with ISO audits is a plus.
Certification in Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, Six Sigma, or similar is preferred.
