About the role
The primary role of the Software Design Quality Engineer is to create risk documentation for a developed software (Clinical decision support or Software as Medical device).
What you’ll do
Develop risk assessments
Support Usability effort on the software
Compile or review usability reports
Develop validation plans
Execute validations and verification tasks
Develop User and Administration Documentation
What you will bring
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering / related degree
5+ years of engineering experience, preferably in Research & Development engineering in medical device or other highly regulated industry
Experience with medical device software development and validation
Strong technical knowledge including a demonstrated ability to think critically, problem solve, communicate clearly both in spoken and written form, and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
