Required Skills
7 + years in a software QA role, with significant experience in web technologies and both manual and automated testing.
Proven expertise with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium) and scripting in one or more languages: C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, PHP, or Objective‑C.
Hands‑on experience with ADO.NET/Entity Framework or similar data access layers (for API and back‑end testing).
Strong understanding of software design patterns, common programming errors, and quality metrics (benchmarking, performance, security).
Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, able to collaborate across global teams.
Demonstrated ability to plan, create, and manage an end‑to‑end QA strategy for enterprise‑grade software.
Excellent multitasking, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary QA authority, building deep system knowledge through both manual and automated testing.
Define and execute a comprehensive QA strategy, including test automation roadmaps, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites (e.g., Selenium), and ensure early and continuous feedback on product quality.
Create, review, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for new and existing features.
Lead defect management: log, track, and validate bug fixes; perform meticulous regression testing.
Collaborate closely with product management, developers, and project teams to understand requirements, influence feature planning, and advocate for quality.
Mentor and coach junior QA engineers, fostering best practices in testing methodology and automation.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging QA tools, recommending and implementing enhancements.
