Quality Manager (Machine Shop) $115K/year – Permanent Job Jobs in Charlton, MA at Personnel People
This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one
Responsibilities:
· Perform and oversee in-process, final, and first article inspections.
· Interpret blueprints, GD&T, customer drawings, and specifications.
· Prepare and manage AS9102 First Article Inspection packages.
· Maintain quality management systems in accordance with ISO 13485 and AS9100D requirements
· Formulate and maintain quality control in accordance to company requirements
· Create and implement inspection criteria, procedures, and work instructions.
· Direct workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
· Manage nonconforming material reports, corrective actions, and root cause investigations.
· Work with suppliers to ensure quality of purchased materials and outsourced services.
· Lead internal audits and support customer, supplier, and registrar audits.
· Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding quality issues.
· Maintain calibration and tool check systems for pins, gages, and shop floor inspection equipment.
· Design and implement quality training programs for employees
Qualifications:
· At least five years quality management and inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Strong knowledge of AS9100D, ISO 13485, and related quality standards.
· Experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or precision machining environments preferred.
· Ability to read engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles.
· Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, comparators, and CMM preferred.
· Experience with NCR, CAPA, root cause analysis, and supplier quality processes
· Blueprint reading skills
Hours are:
Monday through Friday -7am to 3:30pm
The pay is up to $115K a year based on experience
