Westaff is looking for a 1st shift Test Technician in the Burlington, MA area!
Temp to perm opportunity!
Payrate: $21.50-23.50/hour DOE
Shift: 9-5pm Monday – Friday
Work location: Burlington, MA
**food industry experience a plus**
The Testing Technician is responsible for performing brewer tests related to client product quality.
Testing includes brewer performance testing, life testing, and other specified brewing system evaluations.
Perform new brewer and component testing protocols in support of brewer product development and continuous improvement programs.
Record and organize quality data in appropriate computer spreadsheets and report results to management.
Provide training as required for new permanent and temporary personnel in proper brewer test techniques and methods, as well as data recording requirements.
Ability to troubleshoot brewer performance issues and correlate abnormal behavior with potential root causes.
Job requirements:
Technician(s) needed to analyze and troubleshoot small appliances from customer returns.
Candidate must be able to have mechanical and electrical knowledge, troubleshooting/analytical ability, write reports in a data management system (ETQ/Reliance), and communicates well.
Candidate needs to be able to work on their own after initial assistance/support.
Skill set does not require expertise, but previous experience required.
Other duties will include unboxing appliances, lifting appliances several times a day (5-20lbs), using a pallet jack, hand tools and small electrical testing equipment such as digital multimeters.
