Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead manufacturing quality assurance initiatives within our production facilities. Duties
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive quality management systems aligned with ISO 9001 standards and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular quality audits to verify compliance regulatory/legal standards relevant to manufacturing operations.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for quality issues identified during inspections or audits.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards in production by establishing rigorous inspection protocols, including quality inspection and control procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, chemical processes, regulatory affairs, and supply chain to implement quality assurance strategies effectively.
- Manage internal and external quality audits, prepare detailed reports, and ensure timely resolution of non-conformances.
- Monitor key performance indicators related to quality control, defect rates, process deviations, and compliance metrics to drive ongoing process enhancements.
- Lead initiatives in quality systems development including QA/QC procedures, project management efforts for process upgrades, and analysis skills enhancement across teams.
Experience
- Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on quality assurance or quality control within a regulated environment.
- Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 standards along with familiarity with ISO standards applicable to manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing Six Sigma manufacturing techniques to reduce variability and improve process efficiency.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance standards
- Experience conducting quality audits and assessments aligned with industry best practices.
- Skilled in using precise measurement and inspection processes; proficient in analysis skills for data-driven decision-making.
- Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams with excellent communication skills to foster collaboration across departments.
- Project management capabilities with a track record of leading continuous improvement projects that enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
